Bangladesh Food Security Network- KHANI Bangladesh

Participatory Research & Action Network- PRAAN (www.pranbd.org) is a non-governmental Public Interest Organization’ led by a group of Civil Society activities’ in Bangladesh. Incepted on 2004 led by some innovative and enthusiastic Social and Human Rights activists the organization has been searching development alternatives to strengthen people's initiative by promoting Human rights, Social Justice, Climate Resilience and Inclusion. For bringing about pro-poor policy and institutional reframes PRAAN engages itself in campaign, mobilization and advocacy on different issues such as Participatory Governance, Food Security, Climate Justice, Agroecology, Right to Food, SVAW, and Rights of small and marginal farmers. PRAAN Envisions a poverty-free pluralist society based on knowledge and technology where everyone’s basic needs, rights and information are ensured.
