Misson:The mission of COCAP is to contribute to the promotion of human rights, justice and peace and inclusive democracy for creating a prosperous Nepal through creation of common platform for coordinated and collective actions together with government, non-government and civil society organizations. Descriptions: Building on its institutional strengths as a national network of organizations working in human rights, peace and development at national, regional and local level, COCAP is well positioned to play role of convenor (and coordinator) of various joint initiatives for protection of citizenry rights through campaigns, lobby and advocacy. COCAP has credible institutional linkages with government, non-government and civil society organizations at all three levels, thus COCAP is equally trusted by all key actors in the fields of human rights, peace and (social) justice and democratic processes. COCAP will continue playing its role as a national platform of these actors to ensure the constitutional and legal provisions pertaining to creation of a socially just, peaceful, democratic and prosperous society are respected and adhered to by all concerned actors.
