This parallel activity is planned to achieve the following objectives:

1. Strengthening the voice of the HRDs in South Asian region
2. Highlighting the challenges towards the right to protect human rights at national and regional levels 
3. Sharing information on the contribution of regional human rights organisations
4. Networking and connectivity among the HRDs

SAHR and the co-organisers percieve that the space created through this activity  will be timely and appropriate in the aftermath of restrictions regarding the epidemic containment measures as well as the regional and global critical developments such as the return of the Taliban governance in Afghanistan, the military coup in Myanmar, the increase in the migrant population to the European and the North America, the war in Ukraine and the genocide in Palestine.
