NEPAL LAW CAMPUS - BLOCK C-Floor-2- Room No(C103)
Quebec grassroots climate justice struggles panorama

As a part of Canada, one of the biggest oil-state in our world, the province of Québec is a place with many struggles and has the capacity to impact polluting companies at their roots. With a growing grassroot climate and social justice movment, the communities resist against corroded pipelines, cancer-giving industries and new development in so-called green capitalism. In this panel, a diverse range of activists and concerned citizens will discuss the current struggles in Quebec where decolonization, the termination of the oil-state and fight for climate change are intertwined and how they imagine a post-capitalist and regenerative world through their resistance.
